Hands for Spoiling - It's Tuesday

A poem by Valentin Marica, illustrated by George Moldovan

It's Tuesday.
The best day one could wish for.
We set out on the sheet of paper,
a well-developed plan
for a story
on the marks of punctuation and spelling.
The audience includes:
a stork,
a doll,
and a duckling
who knows how to knock on a door.

Let's start!
Silently or aloud
but necessarily with a large letter,
tell Autumn
Bird or Queen,
to stay with us a bit more.

Instead of a full-stop,
after words of joy
put there an apple, to sit still, be a good boy

Without knowing what's in your way,
while moving to a different path,
make an exclamation mark
out of a grape
It could be from anywhere,
as long as the taste is there…

To add a comma
between words
the story should be written in advance
this suggested in a stance
a leaf of rust colour...

If you put Autumn
in a display cabinet
you would need
another exclamation mark
what would be more bright?
to put a carrotupright

After this… impression
make a few points of omission
in a migrating birds flock
caught far above the rock

(If your inspiration has run shallow

a break will follow)
